Monique Purcell

Monique Purcell is the Director of the Division of Agricultural & Natural Resources at the Department of Agriculture. As Director, she is responsible for a diverse array of program areas including, Land Use, Regulatory Issues, Natural Resource Conservation, Agricultural Education, Aquaculture Development, Ag Plastics Recycling, Farmland Assessment in coordination with the Division of Taxation, and other various programs to assist farmers.

Currently, Monique serves as Secretary Doug Fisher’s designee on the State Planning Commission, the State Agriculture Development Committee, the State TDR Bank Board and the Aquaculture Advisory Council. Monique has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management from Penn State University. She started with the Department in 1996 as an Ag Resource Specialist.
