Meet ESNJ’s New 2023 Partners!

Get to know our new Partners!

We are so excited to have the new addition of 3 partners here at EarthShare New Jersey! We are so amazed at the work that they do and are very excited to be able to support their endeavors towards Cleaner, Greener, Healthier Tomorrows.

Meet our new partner, SPLASH Delaware River Floating Classroom! SPLASH stands for “Student Participation in Learning Aquatic Science and History”. Their work focuses on education on the Delaware River via their Steamboat and at their boat launch. They teach the importance of the watershed through macroinvertebrates, water chemistry, and ecosystems. SPLASH’s classes also give the opportunity to see some exciting wildlife such as bald eagles, cormorants, water snakes, or blue herons. Find out more about SPLASH at their website and see them at our upcoming events!

Meet our new partner, Friends of the New Jersey School of Conservation! FoNJSoC was founded to support the New Jersey School of Conservation located in the Stokes State Forest and started by the Civilian Conservation Corps. FoNJSoC is comprised of members who include teachers, university professors, researchers, former students, environmental educators, former campers and counselors, and friends. Members work together to preserve, restore and fund other projects to help the citizens of New Jersey and the broader world become better stewards of our natural resources. They host clean up events, informational walks, educational courses and more to get you involved with nature. Check out their website to learn more and get involved!

Meet our new partner, Lake Hopatcong Foundation! Lake Hopatcong is the largest lake in New Jersey and this foundation works to preserve the lake environment and enhancing the lake experience. They focus on sustainability and stewardship to allow this lake to be enjoyed today and in the future. They participate in projects to improve the lake, encourage sustainable projects and engage the Lake Hopatcong community in their efforts to protect the lake. These three new partners inspire us with their work towards Cleaner, Greener, Healthier Tomorrows and we are so excited to welcome them to the EarthShare New Jersey partnership!
