On Friday, May 30, 2014 from 6:30 – 10:00 p.m., EarthShare New Jersey will celebrate its 20th Anniversary at Grounds for Sculpture at 18 Fairgrounds Road in Hamilton, N.J. The 42-acre sculpture park and museum, located on the former site of the New Jersey State Fairgrounds, will set the stage for the evening commemorating the organization’s milestone anniversary. EarthShare New Jersey has played a key role over the years in mobilizing individuals, businesses and environmental leaders to work together to protect the state’s natural resources and communities through volunteerism, workplace giving and sustainability campaigns.

“EarthShare New Jersey was founded in 1994 when 16 of the state’s leading environmental organizations joined forces to raise funds through workplace contribution programs,” said Paula Aldarelli, Executive Director, EarthShare New Jersey. “Today, we provide funds to more than 65 local and national environmental groups and have raised more than $5.3 million in employee contributions from over 60 workplaces. It’s an honor to build on this success and continue to grow our network to protect the beauty and bounty of our Garden State.”

EarthShare New Jersey’s 20th Anniversary reception will feature a photography exhibition showcasing NJ’s wildlife, landscapes and waterways; ecofriendly auction prizes of unique experiences for bidding such as wildlife releases and art work; tastings of beer, wine and sustainable specialty dishes served by chefs from across the state; and live jazz music presented by Stringzville.

Tickets are $100 ($125 at the door) and are available for purchase here. For information on event sponsorship, contact Paula Aldarelli, ESNJ Executive Director, at (609) 989-1160 or paldarelli@earthsharenj.org.
