2026 EarthShare Celebrates NJ Honoree – NJ Climate Change Resource Center at Rutgers University

Environmental Education Award

The NJ Climate Change Resource Center at Rutgers University was established by law in January, 2020 to utilize science in order to assist and support the state’s public, private and non-public entities dealing with climate change. They research and study this area on a variety of topics. Rising sea level, climate justice, and nature-based planning are among the subjects to be explored.

The research results are then used to educate the public and various entities via reports, webinars and publications. They are providing the information and tools we will need to adapt and survive in this changing world climate.
