Paula Aldarelli

Paula Aldarelli, Executive Director

“I get to wake up every morning, do something that I love, and help make our state a healthier and greener place to live.  I see how hard so many amazing people are working and the difference everyone’s “two cents” makes.  What a powerful combination is made when the talent of our members is matched with the desires and gifts of our donors!”                                                   Paula

After spending 16 years with Merrill Lynch, Paula made the leap to non-profit in 2003 as the Executive Director of EarthShare NJ.  Her corporate experience in operations, marketing, web development, human resources, finance and management have all come to good use here at EarthShare New Jersey.  Paula graduated from Point Pleasant Boro High School, earned an associate degree from Ocean County College and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Trenton State College.

Paula had been closely involved in the workplace contribution program of Merrill Lynch so the transition to running an organization that focused on just that was natural.  Her other non-profit experiences include Girl Scouting and work with her church where she organized and executed their first $250,000 capital campaign in 2003.

Paula has been a life long resident of New Jersey and has seen the many negative and positive environmental changes the state has gone through over the years.  Growing up in Point Pleasant, attending college in Ewing and now living in Jackson with her husband and two children has positioned Paula with a passion for protecting our environment and educating future generations on environmental issues.
