WHAT: Celebrate and support your right to clean water at the Hackensack River Paddle, a Waterkeeper Alliance SPLASH Event to benefit Hackensack Riverkeeper. This 4-mile, non-competitive paddle from River Barge Park in Carlstadt to Laurel Hill County Park in Secaucus will raise important funds to ensure everyone’s right to swimmable, fishable, drinkable water. Local citizens are invited to splash in the Hackensack or join the festivities before and after the paddle in Laurel Hill County Park, featuring local food and beverage, live music, awards ceremony and special remarks by clean water supporters including Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

The Hackensack River Paddle is the first event in The Waterkeeper Alliance SPLASH Event Series, presented nationally by Toyota in partnership with KEEN. This first-of-its-kind national event invites Americans to swim, paddle, fish and play in their local waterways in support of clean water.
