Eligiblity: Photographers may not be employed by EarthShare New Jersey or member
organization; however, volunteers may enter. Those under 18 must have parental permission to
participate. Photographs must depict New Jersey’s natural resources, i.e. the land, the water
(underwater too), wildlife, plant life, or natural phenomenon and how you or others are connecting to or conserving these resources. Our goal is to portray a picture of New Jersians love of natural areas such as the Highlands to Cape May and Delaware to the Atlantic and the effort being taken for more responsible tomorrows for our natural areas during these difficult times.
Submissions: All submissions must be made by emailing info@EarthShareNJ.org. Digital images of photographs must be JPG format and uploaded online. Each photographer may submit 1 or 2 images for consideration, each with a descriptive title, location the image was shot, and the photographer’s name.
Jurying: Photos will be juried into the exhibition by a panel from New Jersey’s environmental
community. Prize winners will be selected by popular vote.
Promotion of Works: Images submitted as part of this competition may be used by EarthShare New Jersey for the purpose of furthering the mission after the contest has concluded. Photographers will be given credit for any images used on Earthshare New Jersey’s social media platforms, website, digital newsletters, printed programming, etc. All accepted images will be displayed for voting on the EarthShare New Jersey website.
Notification: Accepted artists will receive confirmation by email upon receipt of their submission. The winning artist will be notified by email at least one week after voting has commenced.
