The Board of Directors consists of representatives from member charities and motivated partners. Seats are assigned based on membership and are in effect until the organization's membership status changes. Board members approve the budget, initiate policy and oversee the programs and services provided by ESNJ. Expenses are funded by cost recovery from donations and revenue from other sources and are shared amongst members based upon criteria created by the Board. Funds designated to ESNJ are shared among the members in differing proportions based on each member's involvement with the organization through a leadership role or other contribution to the functioning of the organization. ESNJ does not charge dues.
